AssociatesMarcelene Anderson Marcelene Anderson Marcelene Anderson, strategist and master facilitator, is a Principal with the Centre for Strategic Management International, an affiliation of master facilitators in 38 centres in 20 countries. With over 30 years of corporate and consulting experience, Marcelene specializes in organizational and leadership development. She is a strategic specialist with Partners in Performance. Previously, Marcelene was a Principal and Management Consultant and with KPMG where she specialized in Change Management and Training & Development. She was an Organizational Development Consultant with Domtar Inc. and a training specialist for the Royal Bank of Canada where she designed programs for the needs of all levels of the organization. She provided consulting services to public and private organizations over a ten-year period in the United States prior to relocating to Canada. Marcelene holds an M.A. in Human Systems Intervention from Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec, and Bachelors of Arts in Sociology and Psychology from the University of Minnesota at Mankato, Minnesota. Peggy Cleary Peggy is a management consultant with more than 26 years of corporate and consulting experience, including a significant record of achievement in Human Resources. She specializes in leadership coaching, organization development, and strategic human resource management. Through her previous corporate experience as Director of Human Resources with a UK based multinational drug company, she gained substantial human resources and strategic change management expertise. In 1994, she joined Western Management Consultants and focused on managing the human resource and cultural aspects of change, and on developing and implementing progressive human resource services in her client organizations. Since 1999, she has been an independent practitioner in organizational development, human resources and leadership coaching. Peggy has a BA in Comparative Religion and Humanism, holds a diploma in Adult Training and Development from O.I.S.E., is a graduate in Gestalt psychotherapy of the Gestalt Institute of Toronto, and has completed the BCoach Systems, LLC advanced program in business coaching. She is accredited by the Hay Group to assess, train and coach Emotional Intelligence in Leadership. Judy Dahm is the founder and President of Reflections Consulting, a coaching and leadership development company specializing in communications, leadership and team building. A dynamic facilitator, Judy is also a coach and a professional speaker with over 20 years of corporate experience. With Partners In Performance, Judy is a leadership and communications specialist and has expertise in employee and customer satisfaction measurement. Judy’s previous experience includes five years in non-profit organizations and 20 years with Xerox Canada, in a variety of capacities. At Xerox, in various locations across Canada, her role was predominately in sales, management and people development. In Judy’s current role, she is able to bring her blend of human and business management qualities to assist her clients. Judy’s clients include executives, managers and individual contributors from across North America in the financial services, government and technology sectors as well as small business. Judy holds a BA in Psychology from the University of Calgary, and is currently enrolled in the Master’s Program at the Adler School of Professional Psychology. John Haime John Haime, innovator and entrepreneur, is President of LearningLinks Inc., a company integrating corporate learning and golf. John specializes in leadership and emotional intelligence development with Partners In Performance. From 1985 to 1990, John successfully competed on international golf tours in Canada, Australia, Asia, South Africa and the United States. Along with numerous professional victories, career highlights included a career low 62 in the Ivanhoe Classic in Melbourne, Australia. He was one of Canada’s best amateur golfers before turning professional in 1985. John has successfully developed and delivered teambuilding and leadership programs for a wide-range of clients since 1997. He is the developer of “Mastering the Game”, an experiential leadership program that uses the game of golf to bring Emotional Intelligence to life and prepare program participants for real behavioral change. Mastering the Game has helped world-class organizations like Capital One and GlaxoSmithKline elevate their leaders to the next level. John is an accredited Professional of the Hay Group’s Emotional Competency Inventory. He also acts as an Emotional Intelligence competency coach to client companies. He has participated in a host of workshops on human performance and development including “Coaching for the Future”. He is a graduate of Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana (Management). Judie Knoerle Judie is an International business consultant with over 20 years of experience in selling, facilitating and designing workshops. She specializes in persuasive presentation skill training and private coaching. As the co-author of a global presentation skills program - UPFRONT Persuasion Through Presentation and a meetings management program meetingsUPFRONT, Judie brings executive coaching and classroom training experiences from across the world into her consulting practice. She is a partner in dAK & Company, deAvila and Knoerle - Partners in Learning and consultant to Partners in Performance. Judie remains a Contract Instructor for Wilson Learning Worldwide. She is the winner of the Wilson Learning Instructor Excellence Award. Her clients include Engineers, Senior Management, Sales and Marketing Managers in the High Tech, Financial, Insurance, and Health Care sectors. Judie holds a Master’s Degree from CSUNorthridge, in Educational Psychology and is a licensed MFCC. Jennifer Kuta Jennifer Kuta is an independent executive business consultant and trainer with more than 21 years of experience in selling, facilitating and coaching within the financial services industry. She offers two workshops, Outbound Selling, a unique approach to inside sales and support training, and Authentic Service, a customer service program that simplifies the process to fully satisfy customers, creating customer loyalty. In addition, she is licensed to deliver Upfront Persuasion Through Presentation, a program helping participants to make concise and compelling presentations. Jennifer began her career in the financial industry as a licensed insurance agent, and moved to financial services sales at MRS Inc. (a subsidiary of Mackenzie Financial Corporation). Formerly a Senior Manager of the National Sales Desk, Jennifer’s team achieved 120% of their business development targets for three consecutive years. In this role, she developed outbound call standards as a benchmark for evaluating performance; conducted call-coaching sessions; and developed the first centralized system to track and report all sales activities. In addition, she designed and implemented monthly call campaigns and quarterly contests to maintain focus and motivation. During her time at MRS, Jennifer founded MRS Speaks, a Toastmaster’s International public speaking club focused on improving communication and leadership skills. From her toastmaster’s experience, she designed and facilitated practical workshops for the Learning Annex and a mutual fund dealer’s national sales conference. Participants learned to sell their thoughts and ideas with impromptu speaking skills. Jennifer is an active member of both the Canadian Professional Sales Association of Canada and the Canadian Association of Professional Speakers, and a graduate of University of Windsor’s communication program. As a committed believer in continuing education, she has completed the Canadian Securities Course, the Investment Funds Institute of Canada Course, and the Train-the-Trainer certificate from Freisen, Kaye and Associates. Sandy McMullen Sandy offers a unique combination of professional coaching expertise, 'hands on' business experience and a strong reputation as a professional artist. As an associate of Partners In Performance, she leverages her unique talent and brings creative and innovative approaches to performance and leadership development. Since 1996, Sandy has coached individuals and teams by guiding them to identify their strengths, to clarify their vision and to integrate these insights with a focus on taking action. She quickly zeroes in on what is needed in order to emerge outcomes that are actionable and that align individual and organizational goals. Sandy helps clients design effective approaches that enhance communication, performance and leadership abilities while staying connected with the energy and passion that comes from each individual’s innate creativity. Kathy Millar Kathy Millar brings graphic design, marketing and communications expertise to Partners In Performance clients. With a strong analytical approach to providing communications solutions, Kathy works closely with clients to help them achieve their desired marketing and sales promotion results. For over 20 years, Kathy was Vice-President of David Millar & Associates Ltd., a highly skilled design/print communications company in Toronto. David Millar & Associates Ltd. successfully provided a variety of design, marketing and print production services for small, medium and large corporations, both national and international. Kathy has worked extensively with corporate, service, manufacturing, health care and not-for-profit sectors. Her strong commitment to client service and her upfront involvement with project production ensure client satisfaction from both a quality and budget perspective. With a unique combination of creative and production talent, Kathy provides concept development, design, print production and overall project management for corporate identity programs, brochures & annual reports, exhibit and display signage, newsletters, sales promotion materials, advertising and web sites. Dave Paradi Dave Paradi, MBA, is known as the PowerPointLifeguard because he rescues speakers and their audiences from “Death by PowerPoint”. He is the founder of PowerPointLifeguard and is a Power Point technical and design specialist with Partners in Performance. Dave is the author of “Guide to PowerPoint”, part of the Prentice Hall Series in Advanced Business Communication. Through his workshops, books, articles and bi-weekly newsletter, Dave shares strategies that help organizations make their PowerPoint presentations more profitable. Dave has been elected to the National Board of Directors of the Canadian Association of Professional Speakers. holds an MBA from The Amos Tuck Business School at Dartmouth College in New Hampshire (1991) and a B.A.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from University of Toronto (1987). In 1998, he earned accreditation from York University in Toronto, Ontario, Canada in Facilitation and graduated from the Dale Carnegie Course. Rosslynn Shortt Rosslynn is the president of Shorwood Associates, and is an assessment specialist and team communications coach with Partners in Performance. An acclaimed public speaker, communications coach and workshop facilitator, Rosslynn helps her clients maximize their potential and productivity by improving their working relationships and understanding of each other. Her workshops help team members return to work energized, appreciated and motivated to succeed. Rosslynn’s approach is ‘down to earth’; her coaching model is simple to follow and easy to implement. Brian is a specialist in leadership development with Partners in Performance. A seasoned executive coach and leadership trainer, Brian works with both, large corporations such as Magna International, and small companies like Caledon Laboratories. He is a dynamic seminar leader and focuses on lasting behavioural change. His proprietary workshop and coaching process, ‘The Dual Paths of Leadership’, helps senior managers develop ways to become even more effective organization leaders and at the same time, teaches how to gain deeper personal fulfillment. Brian was also the founder of the EAP Institute of Canada Inc., which is now a subsidiary of the Homewood Health Centre. Through EAP Canada, Brian provided employee counseling, wellness and training seminars, and consulting to clients across Canada and the northern United States. William H. Smalley Bill Smalley is President of Smalley & Company Inc., a consulting and training firm that provides services and support to clients in business strategy, marketing, sales process management, and business development. As an associate of Partners In Performance, he brings broad experience in business planning, business and consumer marketing, and domestic and international sales. He has also taught marketing and professional selling at the college level and he is an experienced seminar leader, coach, and accredited trainer with the Canadian Professional Sales Association. His corporate experience includes management positions with Canadian Gypsum Company, United States Gypsum International Division (as Export Manager – Saudi Arabia), Mediacom (Canada’s largest outdoor advertising Company), LePage Ltd., Gall Advertising, and Certainteed Corporation (where he managed Canadian operations for the Insulation Division of this major US producer of building products). From 1994 to 1997 he was President of IDC Telecommunications Canada Inc., one of the first companies to introduce marketing programs using prepaid long distance calling to the Canadian market. More recently Bill has provided strategic marketing and business development services for a variety of clients including the NTN Interactive Network (Canada’s only digital satellite television network broadcasting to the hospitality industry), the Canadian Outward Bound Wilderness School, Turk Event Consulting (the Toronto Rock Lacrosse Club, the Niagara Film Festival), The Pettit Group Inc., (Konica Minolta), and Synergi Global Travel Management Canada. He has delivered keynote seminars and training to other clients including the Toronto District Health Council, Timberland Canada, Stanfield’s, Karl Storz Endoscopy, and AMJ Campbell Van Lines.
